For shrimp lovers, options abound—from the BBQ Shrimp glazed in savory spices, to the classic Shrimp Po-Boy and Chips boasting perfectly fried shrimp tucked inside soft, fresh bread. The Tuna Steak Po-Boy is another highlight, offering a tender, pan-seared delight that balances the smoky Cajun spices with the freshness of the fish.

Beyond the main courses, the Cajun appetizers are equally memorable. The Andouille Sausage, seared and sliced with red onions, is infused with rich, smoky notes that awaken your palate. A must-try is the Fried Green Tomatoes, crowned with fresh Gulf lump blue crab and drizzled with a tangy Creole ranch dipping sauce—the perfect starter to tease your taste buds. Not to be missed are the Gator Bites and the indulgent Finished Shrimp Etouffee, which showcases slow-simmered shrimp bathing in a deeply flavorful, spicy sauce.

The restaurant’s pasta offerings bring a satisfying fusion of creamy and zesty flavors. The Seafood Rotini—their most popular pasta dish—melds fresh Louisiana crawfish tails, spicy andouille sausage, and shrimp in a luscious Creole fettuccine sauce that is both comforting and richly layered. If you prefer a milder touch, the Grilled Shrimp Alfredo with wild-caught Gulf shrimp delivers a silky sauce over pasta that perfectly balances richness with freshness.

Okay this was absolutely amazing! I sat outside it was beautiful weather. By the way on Thursdays they have a guy that comes to play guitar from between 5:30 and 7:30 I think The food was absolutely to die for, it was great I got the seafood platter and with it came a side which I got jalapeno black eyed peas. Also got a little bowl of gumbo, it was amazing. Great food great Cajun style great taste, the server was really really really really really really friendly she was really really really kind, This place is phenomenal. I'm glad to know that it's not too far down the road! The restaurant was really clean there wasn't dishes everywhere. There was no trash everywhere there was no trash on all the tables, it was a clean store, and it's got a great authentic Cajun look and smell, it was great!

Wonderful place for authentic Cajun food. You can always tell a place is good based on the how busy it is. Food was authentic and served piping hot. Also, the waitress (Lulu) was the hardest working server I have ever seen. She runs back and forth with all these hot liquid dishes with a great big smile or her face. I estimate she is doing the work of 3 people... When you walk in, you are immediately hit by all the rich, delicious smells from the kitchen. I ordered the BBQ shrimp plate. For those you are not familiar, this is a butter based sauce with Cajun seasoned shrimp served with bread (see picture). It is not what people traditionally think of BBQ. An absolute must visit if you are in Birmingham traveling south on 280. Not only will I be back, I plan on entertaining business colleagues here as well.

The rotini, gator, fish, pickles, grits, crawfish….EVERYTHING is delicious!!! You won’t find a better staff or more hospitable owners! There’s a reason they’ve been in business for 25+ years.

I have eaten here in many occasions and each and every time the food was delicious. I got what they called the Crazy Cajun Poboy that was their version of the roast beef Poboy they made with pork roast. I found the chunks of meat to be a little large but manageable. The flavor was very good. I have in the past gotten the crawfish Poboy and enjoyed it greatly. Others in my party got other dishes they also enjoyed. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal.
